Chinese Dutch Business Summit Successful

On the 27th October over 300 CxO's from China and the Netherlands attended the welcome dinner by the Dutch government and the City of The Hague. The successful evening was held on the eve of the 2-day summit at the Kurhaus. On Tuesday 28th October a delegation of 100 influential Chinese Business Executives talked with Dutch multinationals about business and market entry strategies.

Minister of Economic Affairs, H.E. Mrs Maria van der Hoeven opened the conference: "I am convinced that this meeting will lead to intensified bilateral relation between China and the Netherlands, between WECBA and The Hague between individual companies present here these 2 days". The conference definately contributed to the relations between all parties. On Thursday, 29th October Chinese companies announced that they wish to invest nearly 700 million euros in the Netherlands.  On November 17th a delegation will travel to China to follow up on the announced investements.  Sign up for the Newsletter to stay informed on the developments and the programme of the City of The Hague during the World Expo in China next year.
